On Saturday morning Aaron took Tally into the veterinarian to find out if she was pregnant. I was hoping to hear four or five puppies. When Aaron called me to tell me about the visit he told me that the vet kept saying "she is going to have a lot of puppies". We will not know for sure how many puppies she has until we take her in to get her x-rayed on April 13. The vet told us that on average great danes have between 10-12 puppies. That is a lot of puppy love.
The vet also told us that from the size of the puppies the due date is April 20. According to the pregnancy calendar they were not suppose to be due until April 23. We will find out April 13 when the puppies are due.
