Random Memories

Aspyn gets to go to dance every tuesday with her Aunt Rachelle and cousin Izzie. She LOVES going to dance and the only way I can get her to do things like get out of her p.j.'s is to tell her that it is time to get ready for dance. Every once in a while I will watch her as she is saying this is my right foot, this is my right foot, ready ...... together. I decided to take a picture of her while we were walking out the door to go to dance. Look how happy she is!

The day after my birthday we got to have Elizabeth (Lizzy) come over and play, and play we did. They both loved playing ponies and loved watching Dora and Word World. We made a fort while they were watching TV. I forgot how much fun it was to be a kid. Elizabeth loved, loved, loved playing with Teva, our boxer. Teva loved the attention too! Marty you may hate me for saying this but that little girl of yours needs a dog. If not then she can come over anytime and play with Teva.

Just before it was time for Lizzy to go she decided she wanted to make a fort. Which she did end up doing with the help of Aspyn. I must say that they did a really good job for two year olds.

Sophy's First Birthday February 1, 2010

We were so excited to have Sophy's first birthday! It is tradition in our home to have the child eat chocolate on their first birthday. She has already eaten chocolate thanks to her dad giving it to her, but as Aaron says it is in her geins. She had so much fun eating it but she does not like getting dirty or having messes on her fingers. After cake she went up stairs to have a bath and then opened presents.

Aspyn, her sister, was eager to help Sophy open the presents. Her favorite presents are books and balls. Everyday she comes up to me with a book and says "bk". She cannot just read one book but has to read one after another. She sat with me reading to her for half an hour one day. Wow! Her new word this week is "ki," which is short for kitty. She loves our dogs and loves to lay on Bandon, our cat. Her favorite thing to do by far is to play with Aspyn and to be in her daddy's arms when he walks through the door. Ya for dads who want to spend time with their kids!

Birthday celebrations at the cabin

We went up to the cabin for my birthday and for Sophy's birthday. Holly and Andy Hyde took our family pictures. It was so much fun because they brought up their twins, Will and Ben (I didn't get any pictures of them, dang). Aspyn had so much fun playing with them.

My best friend also came up with her boyfriend, Jeff Barbie. Shanelle and Barbie had fun going ice fishing while all of us went snowmobiling. It was a blast.

Then Martha and Tyson came up and hung out with us. Sophy LOVED reading and playing with them. I think she wanted to go with them when they left.

Our dogs Tally and Teva loved playing outside in the snow. This is a picture of Aaron playing with them. They loved running next to us on the snowmobiles.

Dad at Scout Camp

I am behind in my posts so I am updating and working backwards. These pictures were taken sometime towards the end of January. Aaron was at Scout Camp so we had a girls weekend out I mean in. The girls were having a bath so I decided to take pictures. Bath pictures are just so cute! My girls love baths

Tally and Ketcher

Here is Ketcher and Tally. We are going to be breeding them. We will see how cute these puppies will be. Ketcher was at our house over the weekend. We took him back Sunday evening and Tally was depressed the next two days. Usually she snarfs down her breakfast but on Monday and Tuesday mornings she would just go upstairs and lay down. Then she would get up after a while and look out the front window and then go the the back window. She would go back and forth for a couple minutes then go and lay back down.

When we reunited them last night she was so excited it was everything I could do to keep her from jumping out of the car to see him.

We are so excited to be breeding our Tally to Mickey and Karly's Ketcher! Thanks you guys.
