Baby Bird

This baby robin bird fell out of it's nest.  Our dogs were the ones that found it.  We brought it into the house and called the animal control and they came by and took it.  I guess it happens a lot that time of  year.  The house behind ours has a lot of birds nest's.  We have a fruit tree in the backyard so I think that is why they stick around.

The girls were very eager to make it their new pet.  Maybe they can get a bird when they are married, or at least when I am not the one taking care of it.
