Puppy Play Time

The puppies are still growing like crazy and are as playful as ever. In case some of you were wondering the puppies are going to the following owners...

Rose is going to Karly and Mickey up in Ogden. Belle is going to Arizona with Michele and is going to be a show dog. Romeo aka Bascome is going with Spencer and Shaylee up in Ogden as well and is going to be a show dog too! Rambo is going to Iowa with Ashley and her family and is now going to be named Butch. Cardea is going to be with Dawnell and Sierra in Murray.

Their weights and heights are as follows...

Romeo is 11.8 lbs and is 21"

Butch is 9.8 lbs and is 20"

Cardea is 11 lbs and is 21"

Belle is 11 lbs and is 20.5"

and Rose is 11.2 lbs and is 21" long.

These measurements were taken Sunday, May 23. So who knows they may have gained another pound?

The pictures of the owners are Shaylee with Romeo and Mickey and Karly with Rose.

When it Rains it Pours

Well the call came about 10 days after my surgery and about a week before the puppies were due. The Bishop and 2nd counselor came called and asked if they could come over. I said sure. I thought that they were going to ask Aaron to serve in a calling but then they asked me the question. "Will you be the new Primary President?" What, I started laughing. They said that they were serious. I accepted and then the weight of the calling began to be felt. I love kids and always have. This will be way out of my element but I know that this is where the Lord wants me to be. Let me know if anyone has any other experiences of callings they have which were out of their comfort zone. I want to be a mom and wife first and serve the Lord with his little ones. I keep thinking of what the Christ said when His life was coming to an end, "Do you love me? Feed my sheep, feed my sheep, feed my lambs."

New Adventures

These are some pictures of when the puppies went outside for the first time. They loved it after they got use to the feeling of grass on their paws. They would all wrestle and play and then they would just lay down exhausted. It was so cute.

Tally dug a hole and four of the puppies got stuck on Sunday afternoon. Aaron was the hero and got three of the four out but then our little Belle just didn't want to come out. Luckily Aaron got her because she was close enough to the front of the hole but he had to stretch out as far as he could reach to get her.

The other pictures are of them eating solid food for the first time. They are all still growing and becoming more playful as the days go by.

Aspyn is loving playing with them and every time Sophy hears one of them barking she barks too! I don't know what I am going to do when they are all gone not to mention how my kids are going to feel and Tally.

Dawnell and Sierra came over to see little Cardea and man did she love them. It was so fun to see them bonding. I think that it makes the transition easier when they have to go. They already have her food and water bowls and her collar. Dawnell also told me that she gets to take Cardea with her to work. That is going to be so much fun. I am so excited for them. They are going to LOVE her!

Growing So Fast

These are the puppies on Monday night. They are so cute and I kept taking more and more pictures. Teeth coming in and their toe nails are turning black. They have all been white but they are all changing colors.

The puppies weigh...

Rose, Belle, and Bascome are 7lbs

Ella is 7.2 lbs and Rambo is 6.2 lbs.

Two Weeks Old

As of yesterday the puppies are two weeks old! What a couple of crazy weeks it has been. We love the puppies so much and at times I think that they are possibly gettting too much love, if that can happen.

We had to switch the scales because they were too big for the other scale so their measurements are a little different.

They are growing like weeds.

Rambo weighs 5 lbs and is 15 3/4"

Ella weighs 5.6 lbs and is 16"

Bascome weighs 5.6 lbs and is 16"

Belle weighs 5.4 lbs and is 16"

and Rose weighs 5.4 lbs and is also 16" long.

They are so much fun and they are trying to walk everywhere.
