Caballero or Peacock Flower.

I have to be honest.  I did not know the name of this flower that we had in our backyard in El Paso.  Aaron loved it and had to take a picture of it.  So basically this post is for him.  I googled orange and yellow flower and found the name.  The Peacock Flower is beautiful and I hope you enjoy it.

Butterflies LOVE this flower and we do too!

We put a fence around to keep our dogs out from destroying it.

El Paso Fun

We found a place in El Paso that a member in a ward told us about so we went there.  I can't find the name now but we ate pizza and it was kind of like Chuck E Cheese.  The girls loved it and wouldn't get off of the carousel.  We rode a car ride and a motor cycle ride too.  We had a great time.

She is saying "Don't even think about taking me off of this horse ride".

Reading aka "Paycheck"

I love this post because it reminds me of my "paycheck" moments.  As a mom we don't get paid with a normal paycheck.  When moments like this happen, I call them my paychecks.

I came out to find Aspyn reading to Sophy after I finished putting away laundry.  These are the moments that I find get me through the day of monotony some times.

I have a feeling that I will be looking back at these pictures as the girls get older and get into fights about clothes, boys, or too much bathroom time.  I just hope they keep this feeling of loving and serving one another as they get older for the most part.

Missionaries, friends, laundry, and swimming

Sister York and Sister King were some of our favorite missionaries while we lived in El Paso.  A great thing about living outside of Utah is that you get to see the missionaries more often.  Our girls loved these sisters.  This particular day it was Sister King's birthday so she got a surprise package from her mom delivered to our house.  So we were lucky enough to have her open it at her lunch time in our home.

 Friends

The Lindsey's were some of our greatest friends while in El Paso.  They sadly had to move away.  We got to trade off watching each others kids.  Our girls became good friends with their son Chris.  These are a couple of pictures of them playing, I mean being silly.

He was such a cute kid!

How can you not love that face?

 Laundry

Aspyn is such a great helper.  She loves helping me do laundry and I am not about to say no when a kid wants to help.  The only down side to this is to be a little more patient.  Who knows what good things can come from this in the future?

Not happy about something

She would frequently say "Mom, I have an idea."

Swimming

Our best friends down in El Paso were the Biesingers.  We would be over at their home at least once a week.  They lived in a community that had a swimming pool.  We would go swimming quite frequently and these are some of the pictures while we were there.

This is what Sophy would do when she was upset with me.

She would then do silly faces like this to me.

This is my all time favorite picture of Sophy's silly faces.  If you notice you will see she has her eyes crossed.
